We use 3/4” hard maple material for ALL wooden components. This is the major reason our product is more expensive. We could easily use cheaper materials and charge less but we will never do that. Soft pine wood will dent, bow and/or twist over time.
Unfinished / No hooks = no finish no shoe hooks with 5 flush mount Tonal Connectors. A DIY option ready for the finish of your choice. Maple Paint grade materials, assembled and shipped to you.
This is not a stocked item / they are made to order.

This is the original design for this product. I was making shoe shelves and Tonal owners reached out for a matching floating shelf. This idea was born from a need to combine the 2 shelves for a cost effective / more streamlined solution that is more solid than any floating shelf.

We strive to bring you original designs that offer a solution that is not only helpful but well made and that only comes with the genuine passion for what we do. With all that said, please support original artists/designers : you don’t have to look far on here and various social media groups for a cheap “me too” knockoff product that was changed in the slightest manner — this is the original creation for this application taken from concept to reality by me. Some things to keep in mind when shopping for a storage device that will be displayed in your space.
1. Lumber quality - if you can see prominent grain patterns, this is very low quality lumber and should be avoided. The thin veneer will begin to bubble after time with any change in humidity. It is meant to go below hardwood flooring and never be seen.
2. Finish quality - if a finish is brushed or sprayed on with a rattle spray can, this is not a quality finish.
3. Hanging mechanism - a solid, sturdy solution for this is a wooden French cleat.
